Operation/Procedure
The purpose of the Carroll University campus shuttle is to transport students around campus, as well as the immediate surrounding community. All shuttle riders must have their Carroll ID with them at the time of the ride to verify current student status.
To schedule a ride: Call the Department of Public Safety at 262.524.RIDE (7433) or by using one of the blue light phones around campus. The shuttle will pick you up as soon as possible.
Shuttle Hours around campus:
Monday – Wednesday 7 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Thursday & Friday 7 a.m. - 2:30 a.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. - 2:30 a.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Center for Graduate Studies and Sentry Drive: The shuttle makes regular runs starting at the Campus Center, heading out to the Center for Graduate Studies, out to Sentry Drive, and back to the Campus Center. These regular runs go Monday – Friday starting at 7:30 a.m. The last run to Sentry Drive will be at 3:30 p.m. Runs after 3:30 p.m. will be done on an ‘on-call’ basis by calling the shuttle at 262.524.7433.
Off-Campus Shuttle Runs:
Shoppes at Fox River: Tuesday and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. This shopping center contains stores such as Target, Pick-N-Save, CVS Pharmacy, restaurants and many more. The shuttle leaves the Campus Center parking lot at 6:30 p.m. and will return to pick up students at approximately 7:30 p.m. Simply call the Public Safety office and let us know that you would like to go to the shopping center. If you need additional time, you can advise Public Safety and we can make special arrangements for your pickup.
Brookfield Square shopping mall: Saturday at 3 p.m. This shopping mall has many of the well-known stores, a food court, ATM, and casual lounging space. The shuttle leaves the Campus Center parking lot at 3 p.m. and will return to pick up students at approximately 7 p.m. Simply call the Public Safety office and let us know that you would like to go the shopping mall. If you need additional time, you can advise Public Safety and we can make special arrangements for your pickup.
Note: the shuttle's main purpose is to serve on-campus requests. Therefore, if there are no requests for the Shoppes at Fox River, the shuttle will not make a trip on that night.
