Refund Policy/Schedule Summer 2014

Add/Drop Courses

Students who add or drop courses must do so in writing, by mail, fax or in person through the Registrar's Office. Refunds are based on the date of the postmark of withdrawals sent by mail, fax or on date of delivery of those delivered personally to the Registrar's Office. If a class is cancelled due to lack of enrollment, registered students will receive a full refund. Refer to the university catalog for course add and drop dates.

Tuition Refunds:

Full- or part-time students who withdraw from the university might be eligible for a tuition refund.

Part-time students who drop courses might be eligible for a tuition refund.

Summer 2014 specially timed courses have the following refund schedule:
100% Before the First Day of Class
75% During the First 25% of the Class
25% Between 25% and 50% of the Class

Carroll Online Consortium (OCICU) courses have a separate refund schedule.

*All refunds will be reduced by a five percent administrative fee (not to exceed $100).

Note: For students enrolled in Summer III 2014 ONLY, loan funds will be disbursed to your student account on July 24, 2014. Students receiving Title IV federal aid who officially withdraw or are unofficially withdrawn from classes may have their Title IV financial aid pro-rated.
