Student Health Insurance for 2014-2015
Your health and well-being are important to Carroll University and to your academic success. That is why all registered full-time and international students are required to have health insurance, either through Carroll or another source such as your parent's employer (as long as the other health insurance meets Carroll's waiver requirements).
Each academic year you are enrolled at Carroll University, you must make the choice to enroll in or waive participation in one of the three University sponsored Student Health Insurance Plans. The Enrollment/Waiver Period for the 2014-15 academic year ends one month after classes start - October 3, 2014. If you do not enroll or waive by the end of the Enrollment/Waiver Period, you will automatically be enrolled in and billed for a University sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan and an insurance card will be sent to your home address.
To request a waiver from the University-sponsored plans, navigate from your student website to MY INFO and choose Health Insurance Waiver. Enter your health insurance information and submit.
The University sponsored Student Health Insurance Plans are designed to meet the unique health care needs of Carroll students and supplement services offered at the on-campus Student Health Center. Plan details and rates are available at http://www.wpsic.com/waicu and on the University's website at http://my.carrollu.edu/ICS/Departments/Health_Services/Health_Insurance.jnz.
If you have questions about enrolling or waiving, please contact Vicky Alf at 262-524-7372.
