Office of Global Education

The Office of Global Education (OGE) hosts our Cross-Cultural Experience Program. We support students through Cross-Cultural Experience (CCE) advising sessions and sociocultural programming, along with creating strong partnerships with faculty and local/global partners to ensure students receive fulfilling immersion programs.

OGE is responsible for all CCE Coordination including study abroad and Global Education (CCS300 and NCE).

Other services include:

  • Work with faculty and administration to support their international efforts in and out of the classroom
  • Establish and maintain linkages and partnerships with overseas institutions
  • Provide individual advising, pre-departure orientation and re-entry assistance for study abroad participants

Additional information is available on the CCE website including program options, deadlines, CCE 101 and 102 advising sessions, travel registration and more.

CCE Advisement

OGE provides advising for all students interested in either a Carroll course CCE or a study abroad program. From deciding where to go to returning from your CCE, OGE will be there to guide you. We encourage students to participate in both CCE Peer Advisor sessions and appointments with professional advisors to learn more about a CCE that fits your needs, interests and academic goals.
