WHO are the key participants?

The student and the academic advisor are the key participants in the advising process. At Carroll, we are building a shared advising model, the foundation of which lies upon a strong faculty-based advising component.

A student who has declared a major is assigned a faculty or professional academic advisor who also teaches within the student's academic program. A student deciding upon a major is assigned an academic advisor who provides guidance and support as the student moves through the decision-making process.

Advising Center & Career Center professionals also collaborate with academic advisors in providing academic and career support for all Carroll students.
