Meet the Center for Academic Advising Services Staff
Director of Academic Advising Services
Hi! I'm Mandy Stephens, the Director at CAAS. I am excited to meet and work with you throughout your time here at Carroll University! I found my passion for academic advising working as an Exploratory Advisor while in graduate school for Higher Education Counseling. I enjoy working with exploring and major-changing students, helping them discover what they are passionate about learning through discussing their strengths, values and interests.
Fun Fact: My favorite things to do outside of work are playing with my 4-year old, cooking and camping with my partner, child and friends.
Hi! My name is Amanda Delaney and I have been at Carroll University since 2007 primarily working in the Admission Office. I recently made the switch to the Center for Academic Advising Services because of my strong desire to assist students with their academic and career planning during their time here at Carroll. I look forward to supporting you as you grow and work to achieve your academic and professional goals!
Fun Fact: My husband and I planned to have 2 children…total. When my daughter was 3-years old we were very surprised to find out that we would be adding identical twin boys to our family. And no, twins do not run in either of our families!
My name is Ali Gerdts, and although I am the newest Academic Advisor, I am not new to the Center for Academic Advising Services at Carroll University! I graduated in 2015 from Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and throughout my undergraduate career I worked as a Pioneer Academic Advising Leader for the Center. As an Academic Advisor I enjoy seeing the progress students make towards their academic and career goals.
Fun Fact: I have a pet rabbit who spends her time hopping around my house and snuggling with anyone willing to pet her.
