How to Apply

Carroll University is committed to enrolling students who will be academically and socially successful at our institution. The information on this page will help you along with your application process. Please find the section that best describes you below. Evaluation for acceptance generally takes one to three weeks and is done on a rolling basis. 

Transfer Admission Process

To apply for admission to Carroll University, transfer students must complete the following process:

  1. Apply directly online or use Common Application
    • There is never a fee to apply to Carroll University
  2. Submit an official transcript
    • Verification of high school or GED completion (copy of official transcript will be acceptable)
    • Transfer students must submit transcripts from ALL institutions of higher education attended
  3. Standardized Test Scores
    • Transfer students may have this requirement waived
  4. Report Form
  5. Personal Statement (optional)

Returning Student Admission Process

To apply for admission to Carroll University, returning students must complete the following process:

  1. Apply directly online or use Common Application
    • There is never a fee to apply to Carroll University
  2. Submit official transcripts from ALL institutions of higher education attended since you last attended Carroll
  3. Report Form
  4. Personal Statement (optional)

Part-time to Full-time Admission Process

If you are a current part-time student at Carroll looking to become a full-time student, complete the following process:

  1. Apply directly online or use Common Application
    • There is never a fee to apply to Carroll University
