Music Education Instrumental

Students in the instrumental specialization receive the skills necessary to teach a variety of instruments in large and small groups in schools. You’ll have lessons in woodwind, percussion, brass, string, voice and conducting, as well as ensemble experiences. You’ll also study educational psychology and observe and participate in real classrooms during field experiences and student teaching opportunities.
