Quit line hours 7 a.m.to 11 p.m. daily

  • Quit Line will provide a two-week supply of free medications.
  • Quit Line will provide free live coaching.
  • All clients will receive free print materials after contacting the Quit Line.
  • Clients can also participate in new Web coaching program.

 

American Lung Association
Freedom From Smoking On-Line Program

Freedom From Smoking Online is based on established behavior-change theory. Work through seven modules, containing five unique lessons. Download and complete activities to reinforce the messages and build commitment to quit. It's free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No waiting list and the program includes an interactive message board.

  • The Health Center will provide a two-week supply of free nicotine replacement therapy, in addition to the two-week supply provided by Quit Line.
  • Students can come to Health Center to pick up a two-week supply of medication during walk-in hours.
  • Faculty and staff can come to Health Center to pick up a two-week supply of medication by appointment.

 

Tobacco Control Specialist – Community Memorial Hospital

  • Will provide student and employee individual assessment session on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Campus Center Ratzow Room.
  • Will provide all Treating Tobacco Dependence resource packets in English and Spanish.
  • Will provide tobacco-free business cards.
  • Will continue to supply Carroll University with resources for events and/or activities on campus.
