What should students know about you?

My passion for nursing developed later in my nursing career and was fueled by the excitement and passion of the Carroll Nursing students. My enthusiasm for nursing education can be felt by each of the students and faculty I interact with. I am a very animated teacher, who has been known to dance out examples of different heart rhythms. I understand that learning is a continuous endeavor, especially in the nursing profession and I strive to empower students with the tools for this journey. Although I am more seasoned in the nursing profession, I treat each student like the colleagues that we will soon be and I relish the learning journey we are taking together. Nursing is a special vocation that allows you to be a part of some of the best and worst times for people. I strive to teach students to relish this gift and use the skills learned at Carroll University to make a difference in the world around them.
